You're right, Bob. When I first asked about vegasclarks' excessive use of the word rare, I was told Dean was a friend and his puffery was harmless. Finally a thread started where Dean was looked at a bit more critically. Then of course WE were accused of making a mountain out of a molehill when his next batch of auctions didn't include the word rare. I count 18 of his 108 current actions with the word RARE in the title. I suppose that isn't TOO bad. You don't suppose some newbie would really believe this Horseshoe quarter was really RARE, do you?

I suppose I'm now on Archie's list of offenders. I was so frustrated by the lack of response here, I put RARE on a couple of my auctions to see if I could get a rise out of anyone. Oh well.
