Bob; There are exceptions to every rule. I'll concede that there may be "rare" chips that "rarely" sell for under $100.... but not too often. How many of them do you see among the 121 "rare" chips presently being offered for sale on ebay? How many of these "rare" chips have opening bids of $9.99 Bob, and have no takers? These are the abuses of "rare" that I'm attempting to address.... not the valid examples that you have given.

"K", the newcomer to this bb, who reported the Buggsy LE chip that sold for $31 on ebay as a "rare chip" is a better example of this type abuse that needs to be addressed than the example you have cited.
