I had a friend with a NASCAR collection up for auction. It had one bid of $1699.00 for days. With just a few hours left, the bidder retracted his bid. The reason given was that he "accidently entered the wrong bid amount." His max bid was shown at $1703.00. I thought a bid retraction must be agreed upon by both parties involved, but apparently not. His complaint to ebay went nowhere. (Of course)
