If you don't mind a few suggestions beyond your initial request. Join the CC>CC, most of the people here belong. If you get nothing else out of it, the magazines are well worth the $20 fee.

We also havge an annual convention which is great fun, and I was where you were not that long ago (and you are right it is addicting). The people here are great, and you'll have a lot of fun.

Your choice of a starting place is excellent.

I have both price guides and I find the compliment each other well. The Chip Rack covers Nevada great, the other is more national and has pictures.
