I will throw in my usual two cents worth here. Iffn you want to stay at the north end of the strip I recommend Circus-Circus for the cheapest, cleanest rooms around. Why worry about old dirty rooms when Circus offers very nice rooms at the cheapest rates around (normally). OK so ya gotta put up with a few kids on the weekends but you don't have to stay at one casino all day (we collect chips remember?). That means if you are like me I sleep in my room for a few hours before heading out to a different casino to check out the chips, slot cards, food specials, etc.
