Just giving you some facts. That are first person from someone who acutally worked at the casino and from a several reputable sources from the internet. Here is another one for you: http://www.library.unlv.edu/arch/casinosbyname.html The UNLV Las Vegas libraries with a detailed history of casinos, owners etc. If you need more proof I can give you some more links. You are thinking of the Silver Slipper club that was on Boulder Hwy (wasn't actually a casino but did have slots). This was bought by Beldon Katleman so that he could name his casino from the golden slipper to the Silver Slipper in December of 1950. I do respect the recollection of these gentlemen, but I unfortunatley have to submit this factual information.
