Despite all of the posts it seems like no one has really answered your question. As an occasional Strike collector I have no problem paying face value for any strike except the most common ones which everyone has already. It does seem like many strikes have not appreciated in value very much the last few years. Given to oportunity to buy a small collection at face you would hope that there are some better ones in the collection to make it worth while. Good luck.
