I'm an idiot too, but this seems pretty easy. The links are near the top of the main "Message Index" page:

To edit the profile, just click the link "create profile," make changes and hit the button "save profile." (Go ahead and experiment, by adding a semi-colon(;) or whatever.)

To see the changed profile, just click the link "view user profiles."
