Dave it's because you know something that they don't about "THAT" chip. So they had to outbid you?
I've seen the same thing when I was running auctions. I had 10 of the same boxes of 100 chips and people were bidding on one of them, the other nine were untouched.
It could also be that someone did a search, found the one they wanted, and didn't see that others were listed.
Hey, it's eBay. Strange things happen.
What I have found interesting is someone will put up a chip, and there will be 8 bidders. So the next week, I put up the same chip and get no bids for a lower starting price. Makes me wonder?
