I am not expecting to debate this any further either here or by email, but as I have emailed you 3 times in the past 48 hours (including a reply to your email yesterday) and re-sent those emails from a different address in case they did not get through, and not heard back from you, I care to add several points that I think its only fair the board readers here should see.

In your email to me yesterday, with regard to this matter, you stated "your source of info is a bit one-sided and I am surprised that you wish to be a spokesperson"

Im sure other chip board readers felt the same way.

The fact is that Josh was concerned when he contacted me shortly after he received your letter and I can assure you that he believed it was the first step in the legal process.

Following that, Josh made his post.

At that time, I had not seen a copy of the letter. I had another club member call you as I could not make contact to clarify some matters which he did. Subsequently I spoke with several other people who also spoke to you, probably including those who advised you to make this post.

While this was going on, I received a copy of your letter from Josh.

With the knowledge now that your reason for taking this approach was not to seek recompense, legally or otherwise, but to attempt to have Josh change his ways regarding his item descriptions, I have to say I was surprised that you did not actually mention this at all in your letter, yet you ask where your missing chips are/what Josh is going to do about it no less than four times.

I will go on to say that as your name, along with others, appears listed below the title 'Club Officials', it is fair to say that most people would regard you as a club officer. The fact that the 'elected' club officers as we know them are in fact 'The Board of Directors', yet most of those named as officials, including yourself, have titles including 'director' merely makes this even more confusing, and I believe the majority of people could make that mistake.

I therefore think that your comment "It is misleading and even false, especially the part about me being a Club Officer" is rather petty considering this comes over as the strongest line in your message.

Now please be clear that I am not taking sides here after all, just being truthful.

Note that in the original discussions following Josh's 'advert' for the Key West chips, and your subsequent purchase, I made it clear that although I personally did not think it was misleading (and I thought Josh's lead-off post was clever marketing) I was neither supporting nor condoning his methods.

From the large number of people I have corresponded with, in one way or other, on this matter, I have to be honest and say the concensus is you are both as bad as each other in the way this particular matter has been handled, specifically in terms of your approach of the letter being a bad move, and Josh's response on this board being misleading to you, particularly as neither of those correspondences seemed to convey the right message, and have no doubt caused much ill feeling between many members including yourselves.

I therefore hope you can satisfactorily resolve this between yourselves without the need to involve anyone else.
