many times when my daughter was growing up. The pool is big but only three or four feet deep. They have the "midway" downstairs and they put on shows (music, magic, etc...) for the kids on the second floor.

A great self-contained place is The Orleans...pools, movie theatres, bowling & a great child care area that has a bunch of stuff to do for kids that age.

The Monte Carlo has become our hotel of choice recently because my daughter (she turns 15 next month) enjoys the wave pool & the "lazy river".
