I figured that Jim, otherwise, I'm sure you would have had it on the flier. Thomas told me that that's a standard thing for group rates, and without it, they aren't supposed to give any special rates.

I asked why that was, and was told it prevents people from just looking up what conventions are there and asking for the convention rates.

So, there ya go...we all learned something today. Sounds like this was the root of all the reservation problems.
