A sales rep from Hooters Casino Hotel dropped by the office today. He had brochures featuring the same picture in Sheldon's post below. And he brought us bags of chips! Several people below stated that the chips haven't been ordered yet, but here's photographic proof that they are already being distributed!

He had some other chip news, too. There will be 12 LE chips, one each month for the first year featuring a Hooters girl. Also a commemorative for the Grand Opening in several denominations. He wasn't sure if a $100 was included. Opening is set for Super Bowl weekend, so those in town for the Super Show can swing by and get the new chips!

He also told me that San Remo had put out a $5.00 chip with "Hooters-Coming Fall 2005" but had to pull them when it became apparent that they wouldn't open by the. Anyone seen or have any of those?

And in response to David Spragg's inquiry about the dealers, he said they ALL would be dressed in the uniform of the girl in the picture. Thankfully, he reversed himself when I asked if there were any male dealers and said they would have a different uniform.

If anyone wants to trade for the chips, let me know. I have one unopened bag and most of the individuals you see in the picture. There'll be an extra handling charge for packing these fragile items!
