A big thank you to Terry Shaffer for running his monkey-business contest yesterday and awarding me a Harrah's Year of the Monkey chip.

Instead of taking delivery of the chip, I've decided to continue Terry's contest and throw another chip into the mix. If you win Part 2 of the contest, you'll get Terry's Harrah's Year of the Monkey chip PLUS the Route 66 chip you see here.

Here are the rules:

As you may already be aware, Terry Shaffer in addition to following in the footsteps of Jane Goodall, also operates a website called happychipper.com where he markets Carlisle Development's Casino Chip Collector's Assistant Plus software. I've owned a copy of the software for a couple of years now and love it. I've put most of my collection into the database, but not all of it.

I really don't know how many chips I have, but the software makes it very easy to tell how many chips I've put into the database by a helpful little number that is displayed on the screen. (A screenshot is shown below but I'VE REMOVED THE HELPFUL LITTLE NUMBER since some might be inclined to cheat)

1. The winner of Part 2 of Terry's contest will be the person who posts a number closest to the actual number of chips I have entered into my copy of the software.

2. All entries must be posted in this thread.

3. The contest is only open to members and your full name and number must be included in your post (or in the name field).

4. Only one guess per person.

5. No monkey business.

6. The contest closes at 5:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time on the morning of Tuesday, December 13th.

7. I will mail the Route 66 chip to the winner and Terry wil mail the Harrah's Year of the Monkey chip.
