I have been negotiating chips deals with 2 people, neither of whom posts on this board, and suddenly, without explanation, both simply stopped responding to my e-mails. To me, this is like not responding to the person you have been in a conversation with, without explanation or warning. I personally find this both frustrating and rude.
BTW, I understand that some people don't live on their computers or check their e-mail all of the time. It has now been about 3 weeks since either one responded. As far as I know, there were no harsh or offensive words by anyone in either of these negotiations, and certainly no disagreements arose.
I have tried friendly follow-up messages (several for both), and even expressed my frustration and confusion to one. Still no response.
It's rude. I think they owe me an explanation, if even to just say they are no longer interested. What do you think? Do others find this common? Besides, I was really excited by one of the trades.
