I agree with you. Everybody is looking at this from a cheapskates angle. If a Sammy Hagar $25 Hard Rock went on ebay with a starting bid of $100 and your high bid was $2500. You win the auction for $1000, you got a good deal. However, the shill bidder drove it up to $1000 from $500. BIG DEAL!! Did you get a good price? YES! Were you willing to pay $2500? YES! Do you really think if the shill bidder wasn't there you would have gotten it for $500. I think the auction wouldn't have made it to the end. What do you think?
