The Golden Acorn Casino is located just off I-8 in the mountains about 50 miles east of San Diego. They have had $1 chips for a few months.

Very recently they opened 4 tables of Texas Hold-em. This gave me an excuse to spend $25 in gas to play poker, and get some chips. Don't ask about the poker. The story starts with "I looked down to see two black aces, then flopped a set ...." and ends with "on the river came the fourth heart...".

Also, I still have a few of the new Sycuan chips.
