I posted about this in a related thread a long time ago. When I was new to ebay and paypal (4 years ago) I naively sent off a package 9digital camera/printer) to an address in Singapore after receiving a credit card payment for £350 ($600). A couple of days later I received the dreaded 'chargeback' from paypal. I completed the paypal pages to 'contest' the chargeback and supplied by mail the proof of posting and pictures of contents. A month later I received an email from Singapore police in the area to which I had mailed the package and I gave an 'electronic statement'.

I was told I would hear back. I never did.

10 minutes ago I receive an email from paypal entitled 'chargeback reimbursement'

I log onto paypal and lo and behold I have been re-credited with the $$$
