I have been away for several days and am just catching up on the latest.
I can understand that these fantasy chips that Josh had manufatured were manufactured for the purpose of being used as home poker sets.
What I don't understand is......
A] Why would you need a "NCV" chip in a set where all the chips are NCV's ?
B] Why wasn't it indicated right on the chip that these were No cash value chips or that they were a Home poker chip set?
Who would have been hurt here if that was included?
While the intent here might have been good, you can almost gaurantee that somewhere down the line someone will get screwed buying these.
I have seen more than one instance where someone has put up a fantasy chip on ebay declaring it to be real simply because the seller himself might have been misled.
I'm sure many of you have also seen where people have posted on the board here asking the value of fantasy chips believing them to be real.
Items such as this IMHO are not welcome in the hobby and the practice should be halted
