This is similar to a post/idea I had a while back, but was never able to follow through on due to illness. That idea was called Crap in a Bag.

This new idea was inspired by The Magic Envelope.

In my version a small-mid sized box will begin traveling to those members that decide to participate.

The box will consist of Casino related items. These can be chips, tokens, swizzles, players cards, room keys, shot glasses, matches...etc. My only stipulation is that any item(s) placed in the box be disguised in it's individual packaging so that somebody going through the items cannot really tell what's there. You are not to exchange items, just add to the bounty.

I'd like to have the box travel to as many members as possible, and finally wind up in the hands of the very generous folks who run The Building Fund for the next convention. There I would like the Unopened box auctioned off.

Like I said, I will start the box with a few items, and a bunch of packaging. As folks add to it, take out some packaging as needed. When/If the box becomes too full, the current holder can email me and I will send them the funds for a larger box.

Participants should not discuss what they've put in the box, but should keep a list. You can put a little note wrapped within your item stating your name and CC # if you like. A list of participants will travel with the box.

If you wish to participate, post here with your snail addy, do not send emails .

The sign-up will begin now and will only become active when I get at least 15 responses. The signup will continue untill December 12th, at which time the box will/or will not start circulating. In defference to our Out-of-country members, it is suggested that the box be sent to them while it is still small so both parties do not have to fork out alot of bucks.

I hope as many folks as possible will participate!
