Don't mistake Christianity for Gullibility. The person who universally forgives every offense against him is likely to be taken advantage of quite frequently - to make an analogy appropriate for this board, consider a poker player who believes every bluff and loses his shirt by folding with the winning hand too often. A person like that would find himself invited back to the game quite often.
Also, it's a good idea to warn people out there about Vic's shady dealings so that they avoid bad deals much more likely than random chance would have it, and it serves to warn Vic that he cannot expect to get away with it every time he tries it. His unapologetic strategy of "You got screwed, get over it" gets pretty stale after awhile. There's no obligation for people to be taken in by him over and over and over again, just in the name of forgiveness. And who wouldn't hate to be taken in a scam? My advantage is I can document everything I say against him, in order to warn others to avoid his scams.
By the way, are you a poker player? Would you continually forgive me for bluffing you out of your shirt?
