But you know that know, Hard lesson to learn but with guns comes crime and holding out for cash would be better, heck that guy probably would have "found" the cash to pay you since he probably couldnt have bought a gun through the normal channels, sorry to hear about that. Maybe if you get it back consider consignment with a gun dealer and have piece of mind and also know the transfer of ownership is done properly!! I once had the Police and ATF calling me and coming to my house because a gun that I sold was used in a crime and I was a suspect, why?? I never did the paperwork on transfer, hard lesson learned. Now I would only sell through a dealer!!
