Greg, you everything that I would have done. I don't think it was a banks mistake, they are very good on that, 99.9%, but seeing all the other mishaps, with the phone #, work etc. leads me to beleive the guy was out to cheat you. You did good in reporting it to the police, as who knows what this guy was thinking of doing with the gun, and eventually it will trace back to you. Consider it a leason.
