In the early 1960's, the El Capitan had flights to the casino that landed at a nearby airstrip. The casino owners employed Lynn Moser to greet the clients in cape and costume. She would welcome them with a blast from her bugle. Lynn was given immortality when her likeness was put on the casino chips. I never saw Lynn but her chips were on the tables when I visited the El Capitan in the 60's.
