Gene are you sure, because my supplier says it doesn't harn hot stamps and I soaked one for 20 minutes (way too long) and I could notice any change. But the chip was in new condition to start. But the last thing I want to do is to fade anyones chips. Do you have one you want to send me for a test? Jim
