Today I went to pick up the Millennium chips from the FQ. Another dealer was in front of me and they allowed him to pick up 100 of the $1 100 of the $2.50 chips. After he was done I requested 50 of each chip. They told me they could only sell me 20 of each. IS THAT FAIR???
I requested to talk to Frank (Cage Manager) and Mark (Chip Commitee) about the problem. I talked to each of them separately to find out who was setting their unfair distribution practices. Neiter of them would give me a straight answer (Frank would say Mark lets certain people buy extra chips Mark would say Frank lets certain people buy extra chips)
Here is my question to fellow chippers: Is it fair that the FQ allows select individuals to almost corner the market on chips? Several times this year I have been to the FQ on the same days chips were issued and they were sold out by the time I got there.
The chips should be distributed on a first come first serve basis. If the cage has a limit on how many chips they can sell to an individual the same limit should apply to all. What do you think?
