I harbor no grudge against people of any color, age, sex, and religious beliefs who work hard to get ahead ... or even work to simply keep their head above water.

Yes, everyone SHOULD BE treated equally ... or at least have an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY.

Does discrimination still exist in this country? Of course it does ... and will continue to exist to a degree for a long time to come. Have conditions improved in this country for those who have been discriminated against in the past? You bet!! It's when some folks continue to squander that EQUAL opportunity time after time while denouncing this country and who are demanding handout after handout that upsets me and many other Americans.

"Walk a mile in my shoes...?" Everyone has their own cross to bear. Life does not deal the same high cards to everyone equally. We must all learn to play with the cards that have been dealt to us ... and that's where "equality" stops and common sense begins.
