chips. I was at a local flea market asking sellers if they had any chips; a frowsy looking woman overheard me and said she had a 19th Century set in her car; we walked out to her frowsy looking car; she opened her trunk and there among hundreds of frowsy objects was a box of embossed plane chips. I said, "those are nice but not 19th Century chips." She got mad and proceeded to tell me that they had been in her family since before 1900. I said that was remarkable since they hadn't invented the airplane at that time. She slammed the trunk and walked frowsily away. Geeeze. I missed a genuine set of 19th Century airplane chips just because of smart a's remark.
