My brother lived in Moscow for about a year and visited Marilyn's quite often. He never had to pay admission - I'll ask him why and let you know. The place is pretty basic, a few MM posters on the wall. They went under new management about 6 months ago and they are trying to get "more" American. They even did a Bar-B-Que in July. (4th of July?)
I auctioned off many of the $5 Marilyn's on eBay during the winter, spring and summer of 1999. They seem to be quite common in the USA now and the auction prices have dropped too low for me to bother listing them for auction anymore.
The casino does not have any $1 chips - only $5 and up.
Below is a pic from the place... Note the two guys sitting at the bar. They are "employees" of some of the customers who are gambling in the other room. A lot of muscle hangs out there...
