THE CHIP RACK recognizes certain Bud Jones "coin in center" chips as errors. When the text included within the "coin" part of the chip has one or more letters which are incomplete, you end up with such an error. The word VEGAS, as in LAS VEGAS, appearing as VFGAS (F instead of E) is an example. Slots A Fun issued a $1 chip with such an error, and it appears in THE CHIP RACK. Shown below is a normal $100 chip from the Silver Bird Hotel Casino, Las Vegas. Notice the word "CASINO" as it appears on this chip. Now look at my next picture, the detail picture, to see a different chip. This chip appears to have the word "CASINO" spelled as "CASINC" (C instead of O). Also, some of the lettering in "LAS VEGAS NEVADA" isn't very clear. Has this been previously reported? Does anyone else have this error chip?
Note - I made the first picture a little dark, it's easier to see the detail. However, it's hard to see the mold. Both of these chips are the incuse Diecar mold.
