I am auctioning off 5 chips from this set. I'd appreciate any help with the makers name/address.
5 bone gambling chips, Victorian England shilling eng'd
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6212934689
(This is a Victorian bone set I own. The box is green leather lined with satin material inside the lid. The six individual leather chip boxes (25 chips to a box) are removable. In small gold type is the maker's name (hard to read): " Mudie (maybe Hubie) & Sons, 10 Coventry St.,Piccadilly W" (maybe it ends as ....UK W (?)). I'd appreciate any help with the name. ... ... ..... Thin, bone, engraved chips -- 1-5/16" diameter.)
Robert (600 mint inlaid "H" chips for sale, $300. I can provide a better picture.)
