Glad you asked. I have several battery operated versions and two plug-in versions.
Seriously though... I've not looked for those variations on the Boulder Station chips, but I've seen them on others. I suspect that the non- "BJ" chips are from an earlier order(s) and when Gaming (NV) made marking the manufacturer on a chip a requirement, Bud Jones did so with the UV marking on subsequent re-order(s).
Speaking of blacklights. I picked up an industrial grade (short-wave length) Ultra-Violet light at a thrift store for a buck! When that thing is on I need eye protection. The Warning Label even advises to not over-expose bare skin!
Living here in the Southwest I can sweep a room for scorpions in a matter of seconds!
I also bought a flourescent UV tube that I am hoping to replace my scanner's flourescent tube with and scan in UV light. (A project for down the road, when I have time.)
