Well first of all the Northern Club matchbook is pretty rare and valuable and it looks to be in very nice condition. The Northern Club received the first gambling license issued in Clark County in 1931 (the year Nevada legalized gambling.) The place has changed names several times and was the Coin Castle for many years. Today its called the La Bayou Casino (slots only) and is next to the Golden Gate Casino on Fremont Street. No chips have been identified as being from the Northern Club.
