Too bad more managers/owners of companies don't share your perspective on what is important. America would be ALOT better off if more took your attitude toward the working man and woman, and ran their businesses accordingly. Much too much in business today focuses on the bottom line, maximizing shareholder wealth (I majored in Finance in college!), and lining the pockets of upper management!
