As of 1941, there was a listing for the 44 Club in Covington, KY. The associated address was 4400 Winston Ave. In that area it would have been a small corner bar, it wouldnt have been one of the larger clubs in Covington. I doubt they would have had any major table games, if they did have chips, they most likely would have been used for poker. I havent been thru all the directories yet, but as of 1951 it seems the 44 Club was no longer in business. I am currently working on a listing of all the bars and clubs in the area, and there years of operation. It isnt quite finished, but here is a partial listing. Hope this helps.
