I use a Visioneer 7100 that I got at one of the office supply stores a few years ago for $14.99 after rebates. Does great scans and I use the standard software. Almost every post by people with scanner problems has been from those who spent several hundred dollars on one. I don't understand why the expensive ones cause so many problems.
