There is no denying that what hapenned from Katrina was beyond terrible and everyone should try and help any way they can, however, I don't believe that blocking these auctions will help or honor the victims in any way.
Just like Tom said, eventually it will be accepted to sell things related to a tradegy, when is that? Why not now?
These are just casino chips that are now obsolete. They are not peoples personal belongings that floated out of their homes.
There is nothing wrong being done with these aucitons, and as already mentioned, they were started at a reasonable price.
