...won the very first hand in the new room? Just as we sat down in the $3-$6 Hold'em game, the poker room manager came over & said that whoever won the first hand in the new room would get dinner for two in the Steak House. The dealer then deals me aces. I raise & get only one caller. The flop comes QQ10 & I bet & get called. The turn comes with an Ace for my full house & after I bet, the guy in the hand with me raises. After 8 raises he just calls & says "No need to keep raising since we both have the same hand." I told him that was highly unlikely. A rag came on the river & after calling my bet he turned over KJ for an ace high straight. I play for another hour or so & ended up winning a $100 & of course the dinner for two.
The Railroad Pass put in the extra effort & knocked down a wall to make a room for their three tables. Unlike the Hacienda just up the road, who just tossed one table into their blackjack pit. Andy - Las Vegas
