You know that I count you among my best friends in our hobby and it pains me that you’ve been victimized by this type of behavior. The posters to this board are a cross-section of the “real world” and as such we’ve seen a few who exhibit such utter insensitivity on a consistent basis that you should expect this type of boorish conduct. I’ve seen off-hand remarks posted here that have made me cringe but, frankly, I’ve just considered the sources and let them pass, as you can’t fundamentally change a narrow-minded person’s mentality. In several instances, I’ve seen these people taken to task regarding their remarks, and they’ve mounted such ludicrous defenses that you wouldn’t think they were capable of rational thought.

I wouldn’t imagine that you would want to publicly expose the culprit(s) here, so I’ll just recommend that you let this roll off your back and get on with your life. You must realize that nothing this type of individual might say could have any kind of effect on your wonderful reputation with anyone who might matter to you.
