Like so many I suppose, I simply count my blessings ...

- I would have had the ability to get my family out of harms way...

- Almost all property is insured and could be replaced (my insurance even covers re-location and temporary housing costs, lost business revenues.. etc) ...

- If my home were destroyed... I would have MANY places where I could go and the financial ability to provide for myself....

- I would not have to worry about my job or how to pay bills etc... a new or borrowed laptop and I'd be back...

For folks like me..... it is absolutely incumbent on us to help those less fortuneate than ourselves ......

I'm leaving for Vegas in the morning.. I really wish I could fly into LA and do something.. anything.. to help....
