From what I've seen today on TV, what has happened in New Orleans is something that people have known could happen for years, and the city has been lucky until now. I have a feeling that the loss of life, when the numbers are known (and I think no one will ever know all of the numbers), this will be a tragedy beyond what anyone expected. It looks like much of the city is damaged beyond repair, a complete rebuild will be necessary, and they most certainly can't (or shouldn't) rebuild if the same system of levies and pumps is supposed to protect the area.
I'm glad your people got out of there, and your actions to help them relocate and continue employment are commendable to the highest degree Terry. It might not mean much, but I'm very proud of you and I consider it to be a privilege to be your friend.
