Jim Litnar asked if the Hard Rock 2001 release for April Fools ever won the COTY.

Well, the 2001 release was only qualified to compete in the 2001 competion, and it was in fact nominated. However, it only took second place to the Aladdin chip (the COTY winner) in that year.

So I was just letting him know that it place second (in it's year of COTY eligibility (2001)) to the Aladdin chip.

I apologize if my response gave the impression that the Aladdin won the 2004 competition, which was won by the Hard Rock's Friday the 13th release.
