I get plenty of chips send from the US to the UK. Should always have a customs label please (if not, the PO will often open it up to check and it just slows things down), and ideally face value because of the duty. I don't mind the correct value, but I have had people inflate the value in case of insurance claims without realising that I have to pay lots more in duty.
One way is to seperate larger shipments - more postage costs, but there is a duty free limit and so 2 packages of say $50 can work out cheaper than one of $100 (I'm guessing the amounts because I can't find the limits at the moment!)
It's also quite low - a small bubble mailer with a couple of chips is usually around $2 (Chuck will be able to tell me as he sends me chips regularly - thanks Chuck!) and usually gets here in a week.
As for payments, paypal and cash. Anything else costs too much either to send or in conversion costs. Most people have paypal and pretty much anyone takes cash From a selling perspective I also take Paris LV chips at face value for payments as that's where I stay when I'm in Vegas so I know I can use them!!!
