Dennis, I hope it will be of some comfort to know that my 80 year old mother-in-law just had the pacemaker procedure. It is much easier than it used to be, and after some initial soreness she says she feel great, has much energy. She and her husband had curtailed their world travels because she was feeling so bad. Now they're planning another big trip.
