Is your DSS system DirectTV? If it's DishNetwork or EchoStar or something else that I don't know about, I can't help you there. I did my own installation, climbing out onto the roof of the garage until I had the dish dialed into the best position to fix on four satellites. I bought a dual LNB system hoping that they'd add satellite internet access with the ability to receive it just by adding another receiver to use as a modem from the same dish. They did sorta. They made a different dish and receiver to get both products. I was not happy with that (and didn't buy it), but everything that I was able to find out at that time indicated that both systems were bounced off the same satellite grouping. I can't see that having been changed since then, but I've been wrong before. You might want to inquire about the availablity to receive such service in your area from other hardware retailers.
