I had the same experience with another of our chipper friends. On Friday, Pete Rizzo offered the Riviera chips for $20 a set, PPD, here on the board. An exceedingly generous offer to begin with. On Monday I sent my check. By Tuesday the bottom had dropped out on these babies. Pete went through with the deal. I would imagine for several of us. I wouldn't sell these 3 chips for $1000. Pete's generosity is priceless. These chips will always be my reminder that the friendships are more valuable than the chips.
