This discussion is the kind of thing that results from a lack of common definitions of terms. To me, a counterfeit is an item made by someone else to fool the casino. The Mizpah chips may have been made to fool collectors or tourists, but could not have been made to cheat the Mizpah since it was closed. Call it a fantasy, a reproduction, or unauthorized chip, but it isn't a counterfeit.
