Gene -- the ONLY downside I have seen is that, in areas where they are aggressively marketing (such as att@home in the Seattle area recently), they can outpace their servers and then you will have periodic problems while they are upgrading. Also, rapid growth has created problems with timely support. I don't think anyone has mentioned that the super speed stuff is only on download. Uploads are at about 56k. Otherwise, the speeds are GREAT.
