I wasn't stationed there. I was stationed on Guam.I used to go there for
R&R to get away from it all. I was in a Rescue outfit with access to Wake
every three days....Most likely the chips were picked up or forwarded by a
GI or civilian. Wake was a fuel stop for most short range aircraft and some
of the long range ones too. I beleive most of the civil engineers were of
Asian decent....Gil.....Enough stories for now....back to chips!
