My trip across two states on my way to Yellowstone National Park proved to be interesting, informative and FUN! I discovered that, for me, Winnemucca wasn't the most chipper friendly place...Forgot to get a picture of the Model T Casino…but you can see their chip below…not the friendliest place to get chips. I bough a few of the $5 chips from a blackjack dealer (they wouldn’t sell me chips at the cage…story of my life…) and then as an afterthought I asked for 5 $1 slot tokens since everyone is going to TITO these days…the dealer turns to the pit boss and says in exasperation, “Meg (or whatever her name was) I’m going to need some help over here!” I looked at my Dad and whispered, “What the hell? Can’t she count to 5?” Then I was grilled by the pit boss (I noticed that she had a black eye..more on that later…) as to what I was doing….I explained….she gave me the tokens…and we left….not very friendly…Katie scores it a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.
